Why are the values near zero?
A gyroscope measures rotation speed, not the angle at which you hold the phone. Rotate the device gently to see a change.
Hold the phone securely, then rotate it gently left, right, forward, and back.
Rotate your phone to see live angular velocity on three axes. Readings appear only if your device and browser provide motion data.
Angular velocity describes how quickly the phone rotates. X, Y, and Z readings are shown in degrees per second; a steady phone should approach zero. The live display follows the sensor stream, not touch or mouse movement.
Use HTTPS and tap Start to grant motion permission when prompted. Some devices omit rotation-rate readings even when motion events arrive. Case design, calibration, and browser sampling can affect the values.

The device may lack a usable sensor, permission may be blocked, or the browser may omit rotation-rate data. Check HTTPS and motion access, then try another supported browser.
